The baccalaureate degree in nursing, the master's degree in nursing, and the Doctor of Nursing Practice programs at Loyola University Chicago are accredited by the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education, One Dupont Circle NW, Suite 530, Washington, DC 20036, 202-887-6791.

The Loyola University Chicago Dietetic Internship (LDI) is accredited by the Commission on Accreditation for Dietetics Education (CADE), an agency of the American Dietetic Association (ADA), 120 South Riverside Plaza, Suite 2000, Chicago, IL 60606, 1-800-877-1600 ext 5400.

The Marcella Niehoff School of Nursing (MNSON), Loyola University Chicago is preparing for a Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE) accreditation site visit on March 16-18, 2016 to review all baccalaureate and graduate nursing programs for our continued accreditation.  CCNE is an autonomous accrediting arm of the American Association of Colleges of Nursing contributing to the improvement of the public’s health CCNE strives to ensure the quality and integrity of baccalaureate and graduate nursing programs.  As part of the review process, CCNE invites written comments concerning qualification for accreditation from MNSON constituents such as students, alumni, faculty and the practice community.  Comments will be accepted by CCNE until February, 22, 2016.  The comments will be shared with the CCNE evaluation team prior to the on-site evaluation, but will not be shared with the MNSON faculty or staff, the Accreditation Review Committee or the Board.
