Jensen Named an AMS Fellow
For his distinguished contributions to the profession, Robert Jensen was recently named to the Inaugural Class of Fellows of the American Mathematical Society. To his colleagues in the department, this comes as no surprise. Bob has been a Principal Investigator on NSF research grants for virtually the entire period from 1977-2013, and in 1998 he was an invited speaker at the International Congress of Mathematicians. Still, it is an incredible honor bestowed on both Bob and Loyola. The next time you run into him, please join us in saying, "congrats" for this extraordinary achievement.
