STAT 308: Applied Regression Analysis

Prerequisites:

STAT 203 or 335.

Description:  Simple and multiple linear regression methods including weighted least squares and polynomial regression. Multiple comparison estimation procedures, residual analysis, and other methods for studying the aptness of a proposed regression model. Use of packaged computer programs such as SPSS and SAS. For those interested in the actuarial profession, this course satisfies the Applied Statistical Methods VEE requirement.
