About

Charmaine Butler practices employment law as an independent contractor. Before working as an independent contractor, she practiced law at Michael Best and Friedrich (Chicago Office) in the areas of labor and employment relations. Ms. Butler is experienced in general litigation, labor arbitration, employment litigation, wage claim class actions, OFCCP compliance, and general employment counseling. She regularly represents a wide range of employers including the City of Chicago.

During law school, Ms. Butler served as a judicial extern for United States District Judge Samuel Der-Yeghiayan. She also worked as an intern at Health and Disability Advocates SSI Homeless Outreach Pilot Project.
