Richard M. Rosenberg

Biography
Professor Rosenberg joined Mayer, Brown and Platt in 1960 and was a partner from 1969 to 1995. He represented institutional lenders in various financial transactions, including workouts and bankruptcy debt restructurings, leveraged buy-outs, securitization transactions and designing new financial products. He also represented banks and other corporate clients in various corporate transactions, including acquisitions and bank regulatory work. He has spoken and published on a wide variety of commercial law issues. He joined the part-time faculty in 1983 and joined the full-time faculty in 1996 as a visiting professor.
