Helen L. Thornton

 

Biography
Helen L. Thornton worked as an Assistant State's Attorney in San Bernardino County after graduating from law school. When she returned to the Midwest, she worked as a staff attorney at the Legal Assistance Foundation of Chicago and later as Regional Counsel for the Department of Children and Family Services. She was an investigator, then Director of Policy and Planning, before assuming her present position with the DCFS Office of the Inspector General.
