Corinne Levitz

 

Biography
Professor Levitz has been involved in the mediation field for twenty-five years. Since 1991, she has been a full-time mediator of child custody and visitation disputes for the Marriage and Family Counseling Service of the Circuit Court of Cook County. Ms. Levitz received her J.D. from DePaul and her B.A. from Carleton College in Northfield, MN. She has been a volunteer with the Center for Conflict Resolution (CCR) since 1978; she serves as a member of the Board of Directors, mediation trainer, and mediator there. In 2001, she was selected nationally to receive the first annual Volunteer Mediator of the Year Award from the National Association for Community Mediation.
