Michele Wilk first practiced commercial litigation and labor and employment law at D’Ancona & Pflaum in Chicago. During that time, she represented management focusing on proactive employment strategies as well as representing clients before all levels of local, state and federal decision-making tribunals. She also represented small and medium sized businesses in a variety of commercial litigation, including temporary restraining orders, construction litigation and trademark infringement. Michele also managed nationwide class action litigation for Allstate Insurance Company and represented the company in a variety of employment disputes and policy and practice litigation. She traveled throughout the country to defend Allstate’s practices and to ensure the company’s policies met industry, management and customer standards. Michele worked closely with the highest levels of management as well as the national media to guarantee consistent handling of dozens of matters. She has also worked as a contract attorney in the pharmaceutical industry and with a boutique labor and employment firm, Klein, Dub & Holleb, with which she is currently affiliated.
