Lucy Schwallie is an Assistant Inspector General at the City of Chicago's Inspector General's Office, where she provides legal counsel regarding investigations into waste, inefficiency and misconduct in municipal government. From 2008-2009, Lucy served as a law clerk to the Honorable Milan D. Smith, Jr. on the United States Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit. Before clerking, she spent two years as a Labor & Employment associate at Morgan, Lewis & Bockius in Chicago, Illinois. Lucy attended law school at the UCLA School of Law, where she served as the Chief Comments Editor for the UCLA Law Review and the Chief Articles Editor of the Journal of Islamic and Near Eastern Law.
