About
Monica works on various local and national campaigns with educators, parents, youth, lawyers, and others to advocate for changes in education and juvenile justice, and she teaches at the Northwestern University School of Law. For many years, Monica represented young people in juvenile delinquency proceedings and school law matters, including in school expulsion hearings and special education concerns. She also recruited, trained, and supported pro bono volunteer attorneys from law firms in these cases.
