Mallory Golas is a staff law clerk for the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Seventh Circuit, where she works on criminal and civil appeals. Before starting at the Seventh Circuit, Mallory spent two years working as an attorney advisor through the Attorney General’s Honors Program at the New Orleans Immigration Court, where she worked on asylum, cancellation of removal, and other immigration cases. As a law student at Loyola, Mallory was on the Health Law Moot Court team, taking second place at the National Health Law Competition. She also served as the Publications Editor for the Annals of Health Law and was an academic tutor for first-year property and contracts classes. In addition, Mallory externed for Judge Samuel Der-Yeghiayan of the Northern District of Illinois, clerked for a local immigration firm, and interned with the American Dental Association.
