If you are unsure whether your event is considered a "General" or "Major" event:

• If you are a member of a student organization, consult your faculty advisor for help;

• When in doubt, fill out a Major Event Proposal Form from the Major Events page.  You will be contacted with advice on how to proceed with planning based on a determination of your event type.  (The form is a good outline even for events that require far fewer elements than are listed);
