Public Interest/Government
1L & 2L Summer Government & Public Interest Opportunities (PDF)
Public interest law spans a wide variety of practice areas and settings, but shares the common goal of providing legal services to under-represented populations and issues. Loyola encourages students and alumni to incorporate public interest work into their career plans whether it is as a pro bono opportunity or working in the public interest community. The Office of Career Services hopes the following information is useful to you in this effort. Also, please feel free to contact Maureen Kieffer at mkieffer1@luc.edu or 312-915-7124 to discuss public interest and government career planning.
