ITS Self Service

Purpose

ITS Self Service is a web-based application which provides Loyola University Chicago students, faculty, and staff the ability to independently submit Call Tickets without directly contacting the Technology Support Center or ResNet via telephone. The Self-Service application is available 24 hours per day, 7 days per week for your convenience.

Via the ITS Self Service website, you may:

• Submit a New Call Ticket request
• View your Call History
• Receive an auto-confirmation of an issue ticket via your e-mail
• Retrieve contact information for the Loyola Support Centers

HOW DO I LOGIN?

To login to ITS Self Service:

          1. Go to www.luc.edu/its/selfservice.
          2. Enter your university Username (UVID) and Password. 
          3. Click ‘Submit’ to proceed.

             

HOW DO I CREATE A CALL TICKET?

To create a Call Ticket request:
 
          1. Click the New Call Ticket button located on the left side of the web page.
          2. Type or select your information in each field marked with an asterisk. These fields are required.
          3. If you are a Faculty or Staff member, select Technology Support Center as the Call Type.
          4. If you are a Student, click on the ResNet Call Type.
          5. Students will see a ResNet Detail Screen appear.
          6. Populate all fields on the form with data. A form cannot be submitted without all required data. 
          7. Click ‘Submit’ once you have completely populated all required fields.
          8. Your Reference ID number will appear at the top of the page.
          9. Once a request has been submitted, it may not be edited.
          10. Check your email for receipt of an auto-confirmation of your submitted Call Ticket request.

            

HOW DO I VIEW AN EXISTING CALL TICKET?

To view an existing Call Ticket:

          1. View an existing Call Ticket request by clicking on Call History. 
          2. Call History is located on the left side of the webpage.
          3. Five previously submitted Call Ticket requests may be viewed.
