Before reporting trouble, please make sure you have reviewed the Troubleshooting Guide.
If you are receiving an error message such as 'one moment please' or 'not authorized’ or receive only a black screen, you will need to contact Comcast directly. Comcast will need to look up your account by the address and room number, not the account number/telephone number. If they state they cannot do this, please ask for a supervisor. There have been reports that not all the Comcast Call Center personnel are aware of the proper process.
- Call 866.594.1234
- Press Option 1, 1, 1, 1, 2. You should now be directed to a live Comcast representative and you will need to provide the error message or problem you are experiencing.
