Features of the Digital Media Room
The Digital Media Room (DMR) provides faculty and staff with access to multimedia equipment and software and a quiet area for audio recording. The DMR offers four desktop workstations:
- Dell (OptiPlex GX280) Desktop Computer (4 x 2.80 GHz processor) with a CD/DVD burner and dual monitors
- Dell (OptiPlex GX620) Desktop Computer (4 x 3.00 GHz processor) with a Wacom Cintiq 21UX interactive monitor and a CD/DVD burner
- Two PowerMac G5s (4 x 2.5 GHz processor) with 20-inch HD Cinema displays and CD/DVD burners

Complete Listing of Available Software
Policies and ProceduresEquipment can be checked out by appointment only between the hours of 9:00 A.M. - 5:00 P.M., Monday - Friday. In order to check out equipment you will need to email a request to training@luc.edu. In your email, please provide your University status, specify the equipment needed and your availability for pick-up.
At the time of pick-up, you will need to present your current Loyola ID and fill out a sign out sheet.
Please note that equipment should only be checked out for academic and Loyola related purposes. Click here to read our insurance policy for damaged/lost/stolen equipment. The equipment will need to be returned within three days of borrowing it.
In order to use the Digital Media Room, you must send an email to training@luc.edu to schedule an appointment.
