iTunes U
You can use iTunes U in your Blackboard course for posting media such as music in MP3 format, video in MP4 and M4V format, or PDFs. If you have audio or video in some other format, contact Blackboard@luc.edu to learn about options for converting. Students can easily download your content on their iPod or other player, or watch and listen in Blackboard at their computers.
You will need iTunes installed on your computer; if you do not already have it installed, download iTunes from Apple's web site. Double click the file and follow the installation instructions. If you need assistance with installing iTunes, contact the IT Helpdesk at extension 8-4ITS (off-campus: 773-508-4ITS). If you have questions about restrictions on content you can upload to iTunes, please refer to Loyola's Use of Copyrighted Works by University Faculty.
NOTE: iTunes U functions best when using Internet Explorer 9. You will still be able to create links and upload files using other browsers, but some pages may not display properly when using Firefox or an earlier version of Internet Explorer.
