Hiding a column in the Grade Center does not hide the column from your students. But you may want to  temporarily hide a column to simplify and clarify your view if your Grade Center has a lot of columns, or if there are columns that appear in Blackboard by default that you will never use.

1. From the Control Panel, click Grade Center; click Full Grade Center.

2. From the Grade Center: Full Grade Center page, click on Manage. Select Column Organization from the drop down menu.

3. Once in the Column Organization page you will see that any items that are displaying in the Grade Center are black in color. In the example below, “Financial Management” is not hidden and is displaying in the Grade Center. Click in the check box beside the items(s) you want to hide. Click the Show/Hide button located at the bottom or top of the page.

4. Then select Hide Selected Columns.

5. Click on Submit.
