AAUPC – Academic Affairs University Policy Committee. The Academic Affairs UPC works with the Provost and Deans to improve teaching, learning, and research, and the overall quality of academic programs. In that capacity, this UPC serves as the locus of dialogue in the formulation of University wide policies, procedures and guidelines that relate to academic affairs.

GroupWise – GroupWise is Loyola’s email provider, which allows you to send e-mail, schedule appointments, search colleague’s calendars to make appointments with them and organize your contacts in an address book
Help Desk-For technical assistance, expired passwords, computer or printer problems, etc. call the Help Desk by dialing x44444 between 8:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. Monday –Friday

Kronos – on-line time card system that can be accessed from any Loyola computer.
Lawson Employee Self Service – allows employees to view their health benefits, current pay stubs, time accruals and payment modeling.
LOCUS – Loyola’s On-line Connection to University Services; used to enroll in classes, view financial aid, and check bursar accounts

Serena - Serena Collage Content Management System is the software used to maintain the consistency of content for the Loyola website.

UPC - University Policy Committee. Loyola has seven (UPCs) that are responsible to recommend and monitor the effectiveness of major policies and strategic initiatives. These policy areas include academic affairs, faculty affairs, student affairs, staff affairs, strategic planning, budgeting and finance, and research.
UVID – Universal ID; log-on for access to university computers
WebFocus –WebFocus Reporting System uses the Internet to move data between the University mainframe databases and your PC
