Financial support for graduate studies in History

The History Department of Loyola University Chicago offers financial support in the form of competitive Teaching Assistantships awarded to graduate students working toward doctoral degrees. 

Ph.D. students are also encouraged to compete for sources of funding from outside the History Department.  Those sponsored by the Graduate School include:  Crown Fellowships for Humanities and Schmitt Fellowships for Dissertation Research.
