Part II
A Graduate Scholar is a full-time Graduate School of Business student who dedicates, on average, 20 hours of work per week to the Graduate School of Business for a period of one year. Work may include areas such as writing, research, web development, data analysis & database updating/manipulation, project support, office support, student programming, faculty support and much more. In addition, Graduate Scholars plan and support the Graduate School of Business in the planning and implementation of Admissions and Orientation activities.

Please take some time to answer the following questions:
1.) Please describe your interest in the Graduate Scholar position in more depth (in a statement of no more than one typed, single-spaced page).
Some areas that could be discussed include: the skills that you could bring to the position, relevant past experiences or training that you possess that you feel would benefit you and the GSB while in this position, your goals while in the MBA program as well as after graduation, where you feel that your major strengths lie, and why you believe that you are a good candidate for one of these positions.

2.) In addition to any financial compensation, what draws you to the idea of becoming a Graduate Scholar? What do you hope to learn or to gain from this position?

3.) Some of the Graduate Scholar positions are based in one department/area or with a particular faculty member of the Graduate School of Business, while other positions may involve a Scholar dividing his/her time in working with multiple departments or faculty members in order to gain different experiences. Do you prefer one format over another? Why?

4.) Are there any particular areas, settings, or types of work that you would like to avoid or that you would not consider strengths for you?
