Quinlan School of Business
Welcome to Loyola University Chicago's Quinlan School of Business! To ensure that you have a successful academic experience, we recommend that you complete the following steps before you begin your program:
Schedule an Appointment with your Academic Advisor
Current students are required to consult with an academic advisor after being admitted to an academic program in the Quinlan School of Business. Get more information and a list of the academic advisors.
Get Your First Class Assignment Online
Faculty may choose to post your first class assignments on Sakai before the quarter begins. Your Universal I.D. and Password (UVID) will give you to access Blackboard. A complete syllabus will be distributed by each professor during the first class meeting. All students are expected to check Blackboard to see if they must complete any work before the first class period. If a course you've registered for does not have an assignment listed, there is no first assignment for that class.
Plan to Attend Your Orientation Schedule
The Quinlan School of Business hosts Start Me Up, a mandatory new student orientation session, before the start of each quarter (late August, early November, late February, late May) to welcome incoming students and provide them with an opportunity to meet faculty and fellow students.
