The Greeley Center is the happy recipient of the first painting from its inaugural guest artist. St. Angela, the home school of Fr. Andrew M. Greeley, is the featured school in the newly unveiled Catholic School Guest Artist Program, sponsored by the Greeley Center.
The Greeley Center is pleased to announce a new organizational structure that will enhance the services to clients/schools. Dr. Michelle Lia has been elevated to the position of Assistant Director for Professional Development. Dr. Lia will expand professional development services while overseeing several new initiatives related to innovative opportunities for educators. Joining the Greeley Center will be Dr. Sandria Morten and Mrs. Geralyn Lawler.
This past June, CCSE hosted a delegation of Catholic Educators from the Philippines here at Loyola University Chicago. This meeting marks the beginning of a partnership that will focus on the development of a set of national standards for the management of effective Catholic schools in the Philippines.
Although Holy Family Catholic School in Bensenville and the Center for Catholic School Effectiveness are not next door neighbors, there is a close relationship between the two. For the past several years, the CCSE has been providing professional development support to Holy Family Catholic School.
This year, as the LU CHOICE (Loyola University Chicago Opportunities in Catholic Education) Program recruits its 11th class, the program will be celebrating 10 years of service to Catholic Education in the Chicago area.
