First Year Memory:
I remember a friend trying to talk me into going on a weekend road trip with some of our other friends. I was reluctant because I was a poor college student on a tight budget. He told me college students are supposed to be poor, and that in 10 years I would definitely remember the experience but have no recollection of how much money I spent on it. I went on the trip, and he was right.
