Meet Your Advisor
Title/s: Academic Advisor
I grew up in the Chicagoland area and Omaha, Nebraska. I earned my Bachelor's Degree from San Diego State University with a major in Spanish and a minor in Women's Studies. My most rewarding experience of my undergraduate education was my 12 month study abroad in Santiago, Chile. After college, I moved to Michigan State University to pursue a Master's Degree in Education and to work in their Department of Residence Life. Prior to working at Loyola University, I worked as an Academic Advisor at the College of Lake County. In my free time I like to workout, walk around the city, read, and spend time with friends.

First Year Memory:
My first class at SDSU was a writing class in the African American Studies department. This class pushed me out of my comfort zone by challenging my beliefs about race and identity. As a result, I learned much more about how privilege and oppression affect all members of our society and became very interested in social justice issues.
