If you want to Reduce/Cancel the loan(s) offered, or need to Accept a loan, log into Locus and under 'View My Financial Aid Award', choose ACCEPT/DECLINE AWARD offered in the Summer 2009.
Eligibility for Additional Summer Loans
The amount listed as [Eligibility:Addl Loan-Summer] represents the maximum amount that you COULD borrow through a credit-based alternative or Federal PLUS Loan this summer. This amount reflects the estimated direct and indirect costs associated with Summer 2009. As an undergraduate student, these additional loans can be either Federal PLUS Loans (borrowed by parents of dependent undergraduate students enrolled at least half-time for summer) or Alternative Loans (borrowed by the student, usually with a credit-worthy co-signer).
If you decide to apply for a loan, you can obtain further information on the programs and begin the application process. Loyola will be notified electronically by the lender if you are approved so that we may certify your eligibility for this loan. You are encouraged to only borrow the amount that you actually determine that you need, rather than the maximum allowed.
