Loyola maintains a list of Suggested Lenders for students to reference in making the lender selection for Federal Stafford, PLUS, and alternative loans. Students are free to use any lender.

New borrowers of federal loans (not Federal PLUS Loans for parents) must complete an online entrance counseling session.

Federal Perkins Loan borrowers, need to sign a separate Master Promissory Note.
Once Loyola certifies a loan, if you wish to reduce the amount, make the reduction in Locus and we will notify the lender of you change. You do not need to contact the lender.
When applying for Graduate PLUS, PLUS Loan for parents or Alternative Loans, apply for the amount needed for the entire year!

Continuing CitiAssist Alternative Loan Borrowers may wish to continue to borrow from the same lender.
Students with previous Alternative Loan or PLUS Loan borrowing who wish to continue to borrow from the same lender should contact that lender directly.
