NIH student awards: start now
For undergraduate and graduate students in nearly all STEM fields
On Wednesday, November 28 at 4:00 p.m., an information session was given on the student awards provided by the National Institutes of Health (NIH).
These awards are open to students in almost all STEM fields, incluidng those outside of health or medicine, such as computer science and physics, from high school to dissertation-level graduate students. The summer internships in particular are a great opportunity for students to gain hands-on research experience as early as freshman year.
While the deadline to apply is March 1, students should begin the application process now.
For more information, students should click on the links above; students at all levels can also contact the Fellowship Office for assistance with cover letters and other parts of the application.
