Loyola Alumna in Fulbright Panel Discussion
On Monday May 6, as part of a series of events hosted by the Fulbright Scholarship Board, Loyola alumna and Fulbright mtvU award winner Katie Good (pictured at left) participated in a panel discussion on e-Learning.
Katie won a Fulbright mtvU award for the 2008-2009 year, to study Mexico's musical past. You can read Katie's blog about her Fulbright experience here. She is now working on her doctorate in Media, Technology, and Society at Northwestern University, while continuing to serve as a Fulbright Alumni Ambassador.
The panel was introduced by Chicago Mayor Rahm Emanuel, and included Clay Pell of the U.S. Department of Education; Henry Bienen, President Emeritus of Northwestern University; and Shai Reshef, President of the University of the People.
The online application for the U.S. Fulbright Student program opened on May 1, 2013. Students interested in applying for a Fulbright grant should review the site, and contact us for detailed information on the campus process.
We look forward to working with you!
