Hosting an academic intern is a great way to expand your organization's capacity, provide your expertise to young professionals, and create dynamic and exciting learning opportunities for Loyola students.
Employers often comment on the dedication, professionalism, and creativity that Loyola students bring to their internship experience. Students frequently reflect on the hands-on learning and mentorship they receive from their supervisors. It is our belief that an effective academic internship experience is a win-win and it is the aim of the Center for Experiential Learning staff to support you in your efforts to serve as an educator and mentor to Loyola student interns.
The menu to the left will provide a multitude of resources to help you think about structuring such an experience. Of course, should you need further clarification or if you're ready to finalize a position and begin recruiting, then contact Andrew Miller, Community Partnerships Coordinator.
