M.A. in Cultural & Educational Policy Studies
Overview
The M.A. degree in Cultural and Educational Policy Studies, conferred by The Graduate School, is intended for both teachers and non-teachers wishing to become generalists in an area of educational foundations and policy. Courses are offered in the late afternoon and evenings to accommodate students with full-time jobs in educational settings. Teachers wishing to concentrate in foundations as a supplement to other graduate programs in education are also invited to enroll in this program. The M.A. degree in Cultural and Educational Policy Studies is offered in each of the following areas of concentration: comparative and international education, history of education, sociology of education, and philosophy of education.
