Terry E. Williams, Ph.D., Associate Professor of Higher Education, was appointed Acting Dean of the School of Education effective January 1, 2013 until a new dean is appointed. Dr. Williams has previously served as graduate program director of the Higher Education programs, Co-Director of the International Higher Education program, Department Chair for the Educational Leadership & Policy Studies Department. He joined the School of Education faculty in August 1980 and also served as Acting Dean of the School of Education in 1996-97. Dr. Williams' current research focus is on cultural learning outcomes for students who participate in education abroad. His teaching interests include the history of higher education, the law of higher education, and teaching and learning in education abroad.
