Dr. Michael Dantly assists children with safe passage to school.

Loyola students work with at-risk freshmen as part of the School of Education's Target New Transitions (TNT) program. Together they work on homework and developing supportive relationships that provide the tools high school freshmen need to succeed in high school and to realistically envision their future transition to college or productive workforce employment.

Dr. Elizabeth Vera discusses how service learning in our programs has our students working with "real" students in an urban context with all of its complexity.

Dr. Pamela Fenning describes how we give our students practical training in urban schools so that they learn how to implement their skills in a diverse environment.
