Women of Color Journal
"Recentering Loyola: Literature and Arts for Womyn of Color by Womyn of Color"
LUCES has published Recentering Loyola, the first publication of literature and arts journal for women of color by women of color. This annual publication is a multi-generational collaborative effort and is open to all self-identified women of color. This includes cis-sexual, cis-gender, transgender, and masculine of center (MOC) women of color regardless of gender presentation or sexual orientation.
The WOC journal will:
- Provide a space for intentional sharing outside of the classroom and traditional community building arenas
- Encourage submissions from Undergraduates and Graduate Students, Alumni, Faculty, and Staff
- Include articles, essays, poetry, art, and photography
