Safe Space Workshops

Safe Space Workshops are introductory sessions that work to assist individuals who wish to support the Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, Queer/Questioning, Intersex (LGBTQI) community of Loyola University Chicago. 

Safe Space Workshops cover the following:

· Definitions, terms, and symbols
· LGBTQI identity development
· Skills to interrupt heterosexist and cissexist behaviors and attitudes
· Resources for the LGBTQI communities

Thursday, October 16th, 5:30 - 8:30 P.M. (IC 4th floor , Lake Shore Campus)

Thursday, February 19th, 6:00 - 9:00 P.M. (Water Tower Campus)

Faculty/Staff  

Tuesday, September 16th, 9:00 - 12:00 P.M. (McCormick Lounge, Lake Shore Campus)

Tuesday, January 27th, 9:00 A.M. - 12:00 P.M. (IC 4th Floor, Lake Shore Campus)

Combined Session (Faculty/Staff and Students)

Thursday, November 7th, 12:00 - 3:00 P.M. (Water Tower Campus)

Tuesday, April 14th, 12:00 - 3:00 P.M. (IC 4th Floor, Lake Shore Campus)
