Safe Space Training

Safe Space Workshops are introductory sessions that work to assist individuals who wish to support the Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, Queer/Questioning, Intersex (LGBTQI) community of Loyola University Chicago. 

Safe Space Workshops cover the following:

· Definitions, terms, and symbols
· LGBTQI identity development
· Skills to interrupt heterosexist and cissexist behaviors and attitudes
· Resources for the LGBTQI communities

Wednesday, January 29th, 9:00 A.M. - 12:00 P.M. (Baumhart 409 - Water Tower Campus)

Combined Session (Faculty/Staff and Students)

Wednesday, April 2nd, 12:00 - 3:00 P.M. (Damen MPR South - Lake Shore Campus)
