LUCES
Loyola University Chicago Empowering Sisterhood
2012/2013 Scholars 2012/2013 Programs
Loyola University Chicago Empowering Sisterhood (LUCES) provides a safe space for Loyola's Women of Color to validate, celebrate, and explore our identities throughout our experience on the majority White campus. Through conversations guided by personal and group reflection and sharing/hearing one another's stories and experiences, the LUCES community works towards solidarity and positive growth of our individual selves and our community.
As a multi-generational community, LUCES invites all undergraduate, graduate and professional student, faculty, and staff Women of Color to participate in LUCES' many programs.
