Travis is a senior at Loyola University Chicago studying sociology and environmental studies. He serves as President of the on-campus LGBTQA student group Advocate, a member of the Maroon and Gold Society, and a NASPA Undergraduate Fellow. This year he has also joined the Multi-Institutional Study of Leadership as a Provost Fellow, working with John P. Dugan, Ph.D. of the School of Education on the nation-wide study of college students. Originally from St. Paul, Minnesota, he is a huge fan of ice skating, progressive politics, and all things lumberjack chic. Travis is currently applying to graduate programs in higher education and student affairs and looks forward to continuing to work in student diversity centers. His academic interests include queer theory, urban sustainability, and social identity development.
