High School STARS
In collaboration with Loyola’s Office of Undergraduate Admissions and the GEAR UP Alliance, the STARS Program works with local high schools in developing junior and senior students’ college awareness and academic preparation.
Throughout the year, STARS Scholars visit local schools to provide college readiness support such as tutoring, test taking skills and peer guidance, and they host campus visits in which they assist the Office of Undergraduate Admissions by giving bilingual tours, offering class shadowing, and participating on student panels to discuss their experiences in the first year of college life.
