   Dining Services for Students

Dining Services offers students various dining options and each facility has a unique atmosphere including:

• 2 large All-You-Care-To-Eat traditional-style Dining Halls,
• 2 welcoming Dining Areas,
• 4 Convenience Stores with grab and go products,
• 2 upscale innovative cafe's.

Students with special dietary or nutritional needs can meet with a nutritional specialist in Simpson Dining Hall to discuss any dietary or nutritional needs that they may have in addition to possibly customize the meals they receive when eating on-campus. Please inquire within Simpson Dining Hall or contact Dining Services by email at dining@luc.edu.

 

   Meal Plans

Dining Services provides students with two types of Meal Plans that can be used in Dining Halls: Traditional and Declining Balance. Meal Plans operate seperately from Rambler Bucks accounts.

   Identification Card Access/Usage

In order to utilize on-campus dining facilities, Dining Services has partnered with the Campus Card Office to provide access to Meal Plan and Rambler Bucks accounts through the usage of activated Identification Cards. Your Identification Card provides access to all of the resources and services at Loyola University Chicago, including those offered by Dining Services.

Notice: Your Student ID Card provides access to your Student Account, Meal Plan, Residence Hall, Library Account, and Information Commons, as well as many other services and resources available at Loyola University Chicago. Do not share your Identification Card with another person for any reason. Sharing your Identification Card or possessing another persons' Identification Card are violations of the Student Handbook.

Every Dining Services facility is able to handle payments using one or more of the methods listed in the table above. Payment types may vary by location, so we advise students to check the list of dining facilities to see which payment methods are accepted.

   Refunds

All convenience store and dining hall purchases are non-refundable. If you feel you are entitled to a refund for any charges listed on your student account, please visit the Hub in Sullivan Center.
