Printing cost and funds
There is a per-page fee for print jobs in multimedia lab locations. The following rates apply for the various types of print jobs that are available:

Each semester, students registered in courses will receive $3.50 (equivalent to 50 single-sided Black & White pages) of Uniprint Dollars on their Loyola University campus card ID. These funds will be added after the first week of the semester after course registration closes. Unused allocations do not carry over from each year and are non-transferable. Once Uniprint Dollars are depleted, printing costs will be deducted from cardholder's Rambler Bucks account on your Loyola ID.
Alumni may print from lab printers using a Courtesy Card. These are available to purchase for $1 and funds may continue to be added in cash from the multiple Value Port terminals locations around each campus.
Faculty and Staff
It is recommended that faculty and staff utilize departmental printers for laser jet printing needs without the need for per-page fees. Faculty may request Printwise fund allocations for research by contacting department budget administrator and the Campus Card office for further information. In addition, you may add Rambler Bucks funds to your personal Loyola ID to pay for print jobs when printing in multimedia labs.
We cannot provide refunds for reprints done due to typos, printing incorrect documents. We recommend always clicking Print Preview to see a preview of how the document will appear printed and paginated. This can also help to better avoid printing blank sheets as final pages in word processing documents. You may modify margins and page ranges as necessary in the Print Properties and Print Selection sections where necessary.
If print jobs are significantly streaked, faded, smudged, spotty or creased due to printer, toner or paper errors, we are able to issue refunds. A PrintWise Refund Request Form is available at any of our staffed multimedia lab locations. Complete the form with as much detail as possible and staple the bad print job to the form for submission to a Digital Media Services advisor. Refund requests will be reviewed and processed within 7-10 days. If your refund is approved, Campus Card will credit your PrintWise or Rambler Bucks account shortly there after. If your refund is denied, a Digital Media Services representative will contact you with further details.
If there is a paper jam while your job is printing, do not turn off the printer. The printer will re-print your job once the jam has been cleared. PrintWise will not charge for lost pages due to a paper jam and will only deduct funds once the job has successfully printed. If you experience a paper jam or other printer problems, contact a Digital Media Services advisor for immediate assistance at either that location. You may also contact the ITS Helpdesk to report the issue.
