Ms. Kate Biderbost is a ceramics artist focusing on utilitarian art for the table. In addition to teaching at Loyola, she is the director of a ceramics facility located in Lake Forest and teaches ceramics at Lake Forest College. 

Ms. Biderbost is currently a studio member at Lill Steet Studios in Chicago. She exhibits and sells her work throughout the country. She also has been published multiple times. 

Ms. Biderbost is the advisor to the Clay Club at Loyola and is a member of National Council for the Education of Ceramics Arts (NCECA)
