Mr. Frank Vodvarka is a Professor at Loyola University Chicago, where he teaches design, color theory, photography, and history of architecture. His exhibition record includes shows in Australia, Belgium, Botswana, South Africa, and Zimbabwe, as well as in the United States. Mr. Vodvarka has also designed sets for theatrical and dance productions, most notably for Chicago Sketches, and dance-performance given at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe in 1999, and twice at the Ravinia Festival.
Mr. Vodvarka has co-authored The Interior Dimension: A Theoretical Approach to Enclosed Space, and has given papers on aspects of sensory design at conferences in Singapore, Sydney, and Seoul, as well as papers on applications of color theory. He is also co-author of Sensory Design, which develops a sensory design typology. His professional experience includes architectural photography for Kenney Industrial, and multimedia shows for Multivision International.
