Symposium - How to Stop the Revolving Door of Prostitution.
The Illinois Academy of Criminology and the Loyola Criminal Justice Student Organization will host a symposium on WINGS Court (Women in Need of Gender Specific Services), an innovative rehabilitative approach to dealing with prostitution, on February 19 in Corboy Law Center, Room L14 from 7 p.m. - 9 p.m. WINGS Court seeks to stop the revolving door of prostitution by focusing on rehabilitation over incarceration as a means to address and control prostitution. Judge Rosemary Grant Higgins, WINGS court judge, will discuss the program and its implementation in Chicago. All are welcome to attend what should be a fascinating discussion.
