Lake Shore Campus Venues


Located in Rogers Park, along the shores of Lake Michigan, Loyola's Lake Shore Campus is conveniently located 7 miles north of downtown Chicago and within steps of public transportation. A premier conference center and meeting facility, Loyola's central location is ideal for meetings, conferences, trainings, or special events. The campus offers a multitude of elegant venues including ballrooms, electronic classrooms, tiered auditoriums, and multi-purpose rooms, to accommodate your event needs. Complete your event with state-of-the-art technology services and gourmet catering delivered to any meeting space on campus. In addition to the University's plentiful resources, the Lake Shore Campus has 7 LEED certified buildings, more green roofs than any other campus in the Midwest, and received gold campus sustainability recognition from the state of Illinois.

From historic art-deco to contemporary, our unique venues vary in size, style, and layout with stunning views of Lake Michigan. Loyola Conference Services also offers residential housing accommodations during the summer months at our Lake Shore Campus (Rogers Park) and year-round at our Water Tower Campus (Gold Coast).

Centennial Forum
 The gateway to our campus, Centennial Forum, is a convenient and affordable venue option. Event spaces include Bremner Lounge, Rambler Room, and the Mullady Theatre. The building allows for easy access to public transit and open floor plans.

Coffey Hall—McCormick Lounge
 This newly renovated multi-purpose room boasts sparkling lake views and brand new amenities including carpeting, furniture, and decor. Fully electronic with a built in sound system, McCormick Lounge is one of Loyola’s most sought after new venues.

Crown Center for the Humanities
 Built in 1984 and just steps from Lake Michigan, the Crown Center offers breathtaking views of the lake and is a popular venue for wedding receptions and social events. Adjacent to the lobby is a 245-seat auditorium, beautiful outdoor patio, and two conference rooms.

Cudahy Library—Donovan Reading Room
 Located in the historic Cudahy Library, this elegant venue features stained-glass windows, Art Deco finishes, a unique mural, lighted bookcases, and sky-high ceilings. Coupled with views of Lake Michigan and an entrance to the campus quad, the Donovan Reading Room is one of Loyola's hidden gems.

Damen Student Center
 The Arnold J. Damen, S.J., Student Center was built in April 2013 and boasts over a dozen lounge spaces and conference rooms, a cinema, sports pub, dining hall, food courts, and a ballroom that can accommodate up to 400 guests. The Damen Student Center is Silver LEED-certified and serves as the hub for many student activities and campus events.

Flanner Hall
 One of Loyola’s traditional auditoriums, Flanner Hall is mostly utilized for lectures and trainings. The venue features tiered seating and tablet desks with a built-in projection screen. Adjacent to the auditorium is an open lobby, ideal for receptions.

Institute of Environmental Sustainability
 The new Institute of Environmental Sustainability is a Gold LEED-certified facility and includes several classrooms, meeting rooms, a clean energy lab, an urban agricultural greenhouse, and a green café. It shares common spaces with San Francisco Hall, one of Loyola's newest residence halls.

Mundelein Center—Mundelein Auditorium
 Formerly Mundelein College, the Mundelein Center for Fine and Performing Arts is a historic building featuring 14 floors, stained-glass windows, and Art Deco accents. The building includes a 700-seat auditorium and a multitude of electronic classrooms that make it a popular location for large conferences.

Mundelein Center—Palm Court
 One of Loyola's newest venues on the Lake Shore Campus, this atrium space can be found on the 4th floor of the Mundelein Center and boasts lake views and an abundance of natural light. Coupled with a wrap around outdoor terrace, this is one of Loyola's most sought after venues for smaller wedding receptions and special events.

Piper Hall Mansion
 Nestled on the shores of Lake Michigan, Piper Hall Mansion is a one-of-a-kind venue with breathtaking views. Accented with Tiffany inspired windows and fixtures, original wood flooring, and a restored interior make this venue a popular choice for special events. When renting out the mansion you have exclusive use of the entire first floor, wrap-around porch, and patio overlooking Lake Michigan.

Quinlan Life Sciences
 The Quinlan Life Sciences Building is a state-of-the-art facility that is centrally located next to the main parking structure. The facility features a modern auditorium seating 199 guests and electronic conference rooms.

Regis Hall
 Regis Hall in located on the southeast side of the campus and includes a divisible multi-purpose room, board room, and lounge spaces. It also serves as a premier residence hall for students and seasonal conference guests.

Sullivan Center—Galvin Auditorium
 One of the more modern auditoriums on the Lake Shore Campus, Galvin Auditorium is contemporary in design and layout. Located on the ground level of the Sullivan Center for Student Services, the venue features tiered seating, a built in sound system, projection screen, and computer station. Adjacent to the auditorium is a lobby that can be utilized for pre/post function space.
