Eligibility to Participate
Because there is only one Commencement ceremony per year, students are eligible to participate in the May 2013 Commencement ceremony if any of the following apply:
- Received a BA degree in December 2012
- Completed all degree requirements by May 9, 2013
- Have two or fewer remaining courses for an undergraduate degree and plan to complete this requirement during Summer 2013 (students in this category must have the Assistant Dean confirm by April 1 that the student will complete the requirement during Summer 2013)*
*Students finishing their studies in the summer may participate in the May 2013 ceremony, but their degrees will be formally conferred as of August 2013, after they have completed all degree requirements. For more information on graduation and diplomas, visit Registration & Records.
