Adrian J. Segura

Adrian J. Segura, BS, was a graduate fellow at the Center for the Human Rights of Children and the Center for Urban Research and Learning at Loyola University-Chicago from 2012-2013. While with the Center, he was a graduate student at Loyola University’s Stritch School of Medicine's Public Health Sciences MPH program pursuing a degree in Epidemiology. He is interested in community-based research that focuses on environmental and social determinants of health in more urban, ethnically diverse neighborhoods in Chicago and the Chicagoland area.

Adrian's primary task was being the project coordinator for the Advancing Healthy Homes/Healthy Communities Initiative: Tackling Environmental Disparities which looks to expand Loyola University’s capacity as a leading educational institution with a commitment to building a holistic approach in creating healthy homes and healthy communities free of environmental and social toxins.
