Chicago Organic Symposium

The design, creation, and implementation of organic molecules drives modern advances in medicine, pharmaceuticals and materials science. The greater Chicago area is home to academic and industrial leaders in Organic Chemistry. The mission of the Chicago Organic Symposium (COS) is to bring together these leaders for a one-day symposium to disseminate high impact research results. Each edition of COS touts an outstanding lineup of speakers from the local Chicago area and an external keynote speaker. All levels of Organic chemists (research scientists, faculty, postdoctoral fellows, graduate and undergraduate students) contribute to the event through stimulating discussion and a poster session.

Location designation for the Symposium alternates between the Loyola Campus, UIC, and the University of Notre Dame. Please check-in for location updates on Summer 2017. For other information, please contact us via e-mail at chicago.organic.symposium@gmail.com
