Loyola Counseling Psychology program earns national recognition for community commitment
Loyola University Chicago’s Counseling Psychology PhD program has received the 2026 Outstanding Training Program Award for Excellence in Belonging and Community Engagement from the Council of Counseling Psychology Training Programs. The national award recognizes the program’s commitment to community engagement through its curriculum, clinical training, research and partnerships with organizations such as the Marjorie Kovler Center.

Professor named Fulbright Scholar to study Korean ways of knowing
For years, Seungho Moon felt that Western research frameworks left little room for his own Korean identity. Now, as a 2026–27 Fulbright U.S. Scholar, the School of Education professor is heading to South Korea to explore how Korean ways of thinking can reshape research methodology.
