‘Tis always the season
Students in Dr. Amy Bohnert, professor of psychology, new course Psychological Perspectives on the Experience of Globalization, were eager to do something about the inequality that defines the lives of many in the larger world. The issue that was particularly concerning to students related to the obstacles that many girls face to obtaining education. Our Loyola students acted on their knowledge and did the exceptional—they donated money to provide three bikes for girls in a less developed nation. These bikes afford safe transportation to and from schools. Well done students! You can learn more about the organization that the students went through by World Vision’s webpage.
